Anthony Von der Muhll L.Ac., DAOM, DNBAO treats pain, orthopedic, and sports injuries with acupuncture, dry needling, aka myofascial trigger point needling, electroacupuncture, acupressure, sports and tui na massage, suction cupping and gua sha, and herbology. He integrates contemporary and traditional East Asian acupuncture modalities for optimal care.

He founded the Santa Cruz Acupuncture Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic in 2003, and relocated to the Sports Acupuncture Clinic at Bamboo Family Acupuncture in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2022.

Mr. Von der Muhll is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Board Certified in Acupuncture Orthopedics, with certificates in Integrative Sports Medicine and as a Myofascial Trigger Point (dry needling) Therapist. He has serves as a Doctoral Instructor at the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (Fairfax) and the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences (Oakland). He served as a Clinic Supervisor and Professor at the Five Branches University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Santa Cruz) from 2004-2020.
